Through her deep love for writing and firm faith in God, children’s book author Denise M. Rose hopes to instill the values of faith, love, kindness and compassion through her stories. Her books bring joy and inspiration to countless children while encouraging them to realize their own inner unique gifts and talents.

Rose is also passionate about giving back to the community. She spends much of her time supporting charitable events for local organizations, as well as reading and sharing her books with children in Catholic/Christian schools and other various assemblies.

She has been married to her husband, Chris, for over 30 years and is a proud mother to her three wonderful children - Marissa (Casey) Alexandra (Antimo) and Christopher, Jr. In addition to her role as a mother, she is also a loving ”Nonie” to her three adorable grandchildren - Grace, CJ, and Emily.

Linda Zust, Illustrator

Linda Zust's passion for art began as a young girl - encouraged by her mother to follow in the footsteps of her grandfather, a muralist in Austria.

After earning a degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Linda launched LAZ Studios, which she has operated for over 30 years. Specializing in residential and commercial murals in the early years, Linda's work evolved into commissioned pieces and paintings exhibited in art shows and private collections throughout the U.S.

Born to be Strong is Linda's second children's book. She is grateful to share her talents with the author to illustrate this story that gracefully conveys the blessings of strength and courage in children.

Linda has been married to her husband, Dan, for 36 years and has three children: Daniel (Brittany), Allison (Ryan), and Zachary (Hannah). She is blessed with three grandchildren, Grayson, Brady, and Noah. She resides with her husband on their rural farm in Richfield, Ohio, where the peaceful setting
inspires her creativity.
